MCP is how an AI assistant reaches a system it was not built for. Storekit runs a server for operators at `https://mcp.storekit.com/mcp`, so anything that speaks the protocol - [Claude](https://storekit.com/integrations/claude), [ChatGPT](https://storekit.com/integrations/chatgpt), [Cursor](https://storekit.com/integrations/cursor), an agent you wrote yourself - can answer questions about your restaurants from your own account.

## What it does

- Sales, order counts and average order value for any period up to 90 days, against the period before it
- Products ranked by what sold, refunds, open and closed bills, snoozed items and who snoozed them
- Menus, discount codes, payment links and every store's hours, fees and prep times
- Two writes, each one asking you first: create a discount code, create a payment link with a QR code

Everything else is read-only. There is no tool that edits a menu, touches an order or changes a setting - the dashboard stays the dashboard.

## Setup

Streamable HTTP with OAuth: point your client at the URL and sign in with your Storekit login. No API key to paste around, and access ends when the login does. The [Storekit MCP page](https://storekit.com/mcp) has a guide per assistant.

The AI agent connection is in beta. [Request access](https://t09czsyu90l.typeform.com/to/G6rIJWNv) and we will enable it on your account.
