Multi-platform could based retail POS software. Strong multi-store reporting and inventory capabilities.
Hike is predominantly aimed at retail (they also target coffee shops). We’d consider them basic to mid range software – it’s not free (like iZettle or Square) but is cheaper than Lightspeed Retail or Vend. That means that most of the features are designed for inventory management and reporting.
Varied, but their main offering costs $79 per month for the first till and $29 for every extra. (That’s dollars so the price will fluctuate).
What makes it different from Vend?
Hike tends to be a little cheaper and more basic than Vend depending on which options you choose. Hike is also US-based, so it’s rarer for UK shopkeepers to pursue them.
Works with iOS, Mac, PC. All the hardware displayed here should work. It can integrate with a few e-commerce providers such as Shopify and WooCommerce. Also integrates with Xero or Quickbooks.
Hike have 24/7 web chat available. They do not have a call centre or a UK office.
Hike is quick to set up. It has a free 14-day trial.
