Nobly POS

Nobly is designed for hospitality, and we would consider Nobly basic to mid range. Nobly works best for hospitality with simple and rapid front-ends, but can be used in some retail scenarios. Its closest competitors would be TouchBistro or Lightspeed Restaurant.

Pricing

The first till is £39 per month, and then any additional tills are £25.

What makes it different from TouchBistro?

Nobly has weaker table-based functionalities than some of their competitors; but great multi-store management. It can also thread a single transaction where more than one staff member takes a commission for upselling different bits. (To talk through your options, call us)

Compatibility

Nobly requires an iPad as part of the system to work. Most hardware (including everything listed here) will work with Nobly. It integrates with iZettle, SumUp, PaymentSense, and some merchant banks. It can also integrate with Xero or Quickbooks.

Service

Nobly has a London team, and customer service is available 24/7.

Getting started

Nobly is relatively quick to set up (depending on the complexity of your menu) and offers a free 30-day trial. To get put in touch, email hello@storekit.com.

Easy to use but lacking in reliability and support

Pros

Easy to use and not super expensive - set up support helpful at the beginning but that was where it ended. Once we were a few months in, problems started to happen and very limited support to fix things

Cons

Crashed too often Lots of small problems that make service difficult Lacking in support when needed Didn’t respond when issues raised

Good value for money

Nobly offers very good value for money for a very complete package with lots of features and very good rates with Sumup for card processing transactions

Cons

Nobly appears to have a lack of features for managing stock management tasks such as purchase orders.

Good layout, easy for staff to understand. Parking and restoring bills is logical.

Hard to integrate with certain models of card machines. Long winded to modify product variations once they have been set.
