StoreKit iPad POS Kit

£319.00

TouchBistro

TouchBistro is a mid range hospitality EPOS. That means it includes things like table management and sophisticated reporting functions. Similar competitors would include Goodtill or Lightspeed Hospitality.

Pricing

It starts at £49 per till per month. The price per till drops as you add more tills.

What makes it different?

TouchBistro is a great all-rounder. Lightspeed has more complex functionality in specific attributes; but TouchBistro does everything it does well. If you’re still not sure, feel free to call us.

Compatibility

TouchBistro requires an iPad, and will need a Mac mini-computer for multi-till set-ups. TouchBistro can integrate with the old version of iZettle or (for a price) Square. It integrates with Xero or Quickbooks. All the hardware listed on this page can work.

Service

TouchBistro has 24/7 UK-based customer support (which they pride themselves on – they have won awards.)

Getting started

TouchBistro is fairly simple to set up depending on the complexity of your store. It comes with a 28-day free trial. To get put in touch, email hello@storekit.com.

Hard sell full of promises and it's downhill from there.

Pros

Support (once you get through) When it works, it works well.

Cons

Support helpline can take hours to get through. The sales team assure you that the software can do things that it can't , just to get the sale. The system has failed on us already and it's only been 3 weeks. The range of the LAN is not very far. The "monitor just for install" is actually needed whenever there is an issue with the equipment (que lugging a monitor, keyboard & monitor out into the restaurant every time there's an issue. Not ideal for pre-orders. Hasn't got the functionality we would like.
