Beta feature - The storekit AI agent connection is in beta and available from a waitlist. Request access to join it, or email mcp@storekit.com with any questions. Once your account is enabled, sign in from your assistant and it works.
What It Can Do
Two of those are writes: your assistant can create a discount code and create a payment link. Everything else is read-only. See What You Can Ask for worked prompts.
What It Cannot Do
There is no tool for any of the following, so the assistant cannot do them even if asked:- Edit menus, prices, availability or opening hours
- Accept, reject, refund or change an order
- Change any store, payment or account setting
- Create or manage users, or see other storekit accounts
Two Different MCPs
storekit also exposes a customer-facing MCP on every ordering page, so a customer’s own assistant can read a menu and build a basket. That is a separate, public, read-mostly surface and needs no login. This section is about the merchant MCP, which is private to your account. Developers can read about the customer side under Ordering Agents.Connect Your Assistant
