Your Google Business Profile is what customers see when they search for your restaurant on Google Search or Maps. Connect it to storekit to sync your Google reviews, check your listing, and put your storekit ordering link on it, so guests order from you without a marketplace commission.

Claim Your Business Profile

You need access to your business on Google before storekit can connect to it. Claim it at Google Business Profile:
  1. Search for your business name
  2. Choose one of the following:
    • Claim and verify if your business is listed but unclaimed
    • Request access if someone else has already claimed it
    • Add your business if it isn’t already listed
Google listings are location-based, so a brand with several stores needs each location on Google.

Connect Your Google Account

You connect a Google account once for your whole storekit account.
  1. Go to Feedback → Reports → Google Reviews
  2. Under Connect Google Business Profile, select Sign in with Google
  3. Sign in with a Google account that manages your Business Profile
The Google Reviews, Google Profile and Listing Health reports and the Google Business Profile integration need storekit+.
storekit does not match stores to Google locations automatically. Link each store yourself:
1

Open the integration

Go to Stores → your store → Settings → Integrations → Google Business Profile.
2

Check the connection

Connection shows Google account connected once your Google account is connected. If it says you need to connect a Google account first, connect it as described above. The Go to Smart Reviews button on that panel opens Smart Reviews, which does not have the Google sign-in.
3

Choose the account and location

Under Google Location, pick the Google Business Account, then the store’s Location. Each location shows its address.
4

Link it

Select Link this location. The panel then shows how many reviews have synced and when the last sync ran.
If the list shows No locations found for this account., that Google account doesn’t manage the location. Choose another account, or sign in with a Google account that has access to the location. To stop syncing a store, select Unlink on the same page. To link several stores at once, use Manage store links in Feedback, see Linking each store to its Google location →. Once a store is linked, storekit can add its ordering link to Google for you.
  1. Go to Feedback → Reports → Listing Health
  2. Find the store’s order link check. It shows Order online goes to your StoreKit store when your storekit link is already the main one
  3. Otherwise select Add StoreKit link, or Make StoreKit main link if your storekit link is on Google but another link is preferred
storekit adds your store’s ordering URL (your custom domain, if you have one) to Google and marks it as preferred. Listing Health also lists the other order links on your profile. You can Remove a link that you added on Google, but not one added by an ordering partner such as a delivery app; only you can remove those, on Google. See Remove delivery app links from Google →. You can also add the link yourself in Google: open your Business Profile, select Food ordering, and add your storekit store URL (for example, https://order.storekit.com/your-store). See Google’s help on managing food ordering links.
Keep your Google opening hours in line with your storekit opening hours, so guests aren’t sent to a closed store. Listing Health compares your open days and special hours on Google with storekit for linked stores.
