Adding your storekit ordering link to your Apple Maps place card puts an Order button in front of customers browsing Apple Maps on iPhone and iPad, and sends them straight to your own ordering page rather than a third-party marketplace.

How it works

Apple Maps place cards show “Actions” — buttons such as Order, Pickup or Delivery that link directly to your website. You add your storekit ordering link as an Action yourself in the Apple Business portal; storekit doesn’t push it for you. The link storekit gives you is tagged so orders that arrive through it show as Apple Maps traffic in your reporting.
  1. Go to Stores → your store → Settings → Integrations
  2. Click Apple Maps
  3. Under Order link, click Copy
This copies your store’s ordering URL with tracking attached (for example, https://order.storekit.com/your-store/menu?utm_source=apple_maps).

Step 2: Add it to your place card

Actions are managed in the Apple Business portal. Per Apple’s Business User Guide:
  1. Sign in to business.apple.com with a user that can manage locations
  2. Choose Brands > Locations, then open your store’s location
  3. Next to Actions, select Add, pick an order action (Order, Pickup or Delivery) from the Action menu, and paste your order link
  4. Select Save
Add one order action. Apple only lets each link be used for one action type, so pick the one that fits best (choose Order if you take both pickup and delivery).

What to expect

  • Apple review: Apple approves each Action before it appears for customers, usually within a few business days
  • Who sees it: the buttons show on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.4 or iPadOS 17.4, or later
  • Primary Action: your first Action becomes the place card’s Primary Action automatically; you can manage it in the same Actions panel
