Utilising images and videos is a great way to draw your customers’ attention to specific items. One of the quickest ways to grab your customers’ attention is by using a Popular item flag. This only takes a few seconds to activate! By flagging items as Popular, you will increase the likelihood of customers ordering the food or drink item (whether it’s for table service, pay-at-table or delivery). If you have items that have a higher margin, are quicker to make (or both) - you should encourage more customers to order these items, as it will lead to a greater margin for your hospitality business.
How it works
To enable Popular menu item flags, simply go to your dashboard (https://dashboard.storekit.com/), edit your digital menu and then tap the star for the items you wish to flag as popular.
How it looks
When your customers scan your QR code to view your menu, they will appear as below. You can flag as many items as you’d like on your digital menu. But we would advise that you only flag 10% of your digital menu items, so your customers order the food and drink you want them to order, online.
