Captive WiFi connects a guest’s WiFi sign-in to your storekit checkout. Their first name, surname and email are pre-filled, but they can review and edit the details before paying.

Setup

Before you start, make sure you have a Captive WiFi account running your guest WiFi.
1

Open Captive WiFi in storekit

In the dashboard, go to Stores → your store → Settings → Integrations → Captive WiFi.
2

Start the partner setup

Select Set up on Captive WiFi. This opens Captive WiFi’s setup page, where you connect the guest WiFi account to storekit.
3

Repeat for each store

Enable the Captive WiFi integration for every store that uses the guest WiFi. The setup takes about two minutes per store.
The Captive WiFi page in the dashboard does not have a credentials form. Use Set up on Captive WiFi to complete the connection with the partner.

How It Works

  1. A guest joins your WiFi and signs in.
  2. They tap through from Captive WiFi to your storekit store.
  3. Captive WiFi passes their details as prefill parameters, so their first name, surname and email are ready in the checkout fields.
  4. They review or edit the details, then place their order.
Captive WiFi does not make the fields read-only. Guests remain in control of the details submitted with their order.
