Stream has no floor plan to import — tables and areas are created in storekit, as described in Dine-in Tables, and storekit tells Stream which table an order came from when it sends the order.

What Stream Receives

For an order placed from a table QR code (In Store), storekit sends Stream:
  • the fulfilment type dine_in
  • the table number — the table’s number if one is set in storekit, otherwise its name
  • the customer’s name as <table name> (<customer name>), and the customer’s note prefixed with Table <table name>, unless the store has an Order Note Template (in which case the template controls the note and the customer name is sent as entered)
The POS ID on a storekit table is not used for Stream orders. Stream receives the table number or name shown to customers, so keep those matching the labels your POS expects.

Pay at Table

Stream does not support adding an order to an existing POS bill or paying a POS bill through storekit. Every in-store order — including orders placed in an area that accepts pay-at-table — is sent to Stream as a new, paid dine_in order with the table number, and appears at the POS as its own ticket.
