Time: about five minutes. You need: a storekit login on an account enabled for the AI assistant beta, and a Lovable account. Custom MCP servers are available on every Lovable plan, unless a workspace admin has turned them off. In Lovable, storekit becomes a chat connector: Lovable can read your storekit data while you build, but the connection is personal to you and is never part of the app you publish.

Add the Connector

Open the custom MCP form

Open Connectors, choose the + button in the top right of the catalog and pick MCP server.If MCP server is greyed out, a workspace admin has disabled custom MCP servers for your workspace.

Name the server and enter the URL

Enter storekit as the Server name and paste the Server URL:
If a Connection dropdown appears, keep Direct connection.

Authorise

Leave authentication on OAuth and choose Add & authorize.Your browser opens the storekit dashboard. Sign in with your usual storekit email and password if you are not already signed in. You briefly see Connecting your MCP client, please wait… and are then sent back to your assistant.
The assistant is connected to the account of the user who signed in. If you belong to more than one storekit account, it uses your first account. There is no account picker during sign-in.
storekit now appears in your list of chat connectors.

Ask Your First Question

In a project chat, name the connector so Lovable knows where to look: “Using the storekit connector, …”. Ask your assistant:
The assistant lists your stores by name, with their timezone and currency. If it does, you are connected. Try a second question — “How many orders did we take yesterday?” — then head to What You Can Ask.

Approving Writes

Lovable can take actions through a connector where the tool allows it, and it does not always ask before doing so. storekit marks creating a discount code and creating a payment link as writes, so state the code, amount, stores and expiry exactly in your prompt, and check what Lovable reports back. If it created something you did not want, open it in the dashboard — Marketing → Discounts for a code, Payment Links for a link — and click Deactivate. Neither can be deleted; see Discount Codes and Managing Payment Links.

Disconnecting

Open Connectors and remove the storekit server from your chat connectors. Chat connections are per-user, so this only affects you. See Permissions & Privacy for what storekit keeps.
Lovable’s menus are Lovable’s and change from time to time. If a label here does not match what you see, look for the same idea — a connectors catalog with an option to add a custom MCP server by URL.
