Put your ordering page on your own web address, like order.yourbrand.com. Your order.storekit.com links keep working alongside it.
Custom domains are part of storekit+. Without it, Domains shows a storekit+ badge and opens the storekit+ details instead.

Before You Start

  • You need access to the DNS settings for your domain, usually where you bought it.
  • A domain belongs to a brand and serves every store in that brand.
  • Use a subdomain such as order.yourbrand.com or menu.yourbrand.com, so your main website stays as it is.

Connect Your Domain

Add the domain

Click your profile in the bottom-left of the sidebar, then Domains, then Add domain.

Choose the brand and address

Under Choose a brand, pick the brand (skipped if you only have one). Type your domain under Domain. If you type yourbrand.com, keep the Recommended order.yourbrand.com option. Click Continue.

Set up DNS

A setup window opens. If your DNS provider is supported, sign in and the records are added for you. Otherwise, choose to set it up manually and add the records yourself.Closed the window? Click Set up DNS on the domain’s page.

Wait for Live

The Setup checklist ticks off DNS records, Secure certificate (SSL) and Live on its own. This usually takes minutes and can take up to 24 hours. Click Check now to check straight away.
Once it shows Live, the store addresses are listed under Stores on this domain. Place a test order, including Apple Pay or Google Pay, before you change links or QR codes.

Add the Records Yourself

On the domain’s page, open Show DNS records and add each record at your DNS provider. Use the copy button next to each value.
On Cloudflare, set every record to DNS only (grey cloud), not proxied. Leave the subdomain out of Cloudflare SSL, redirect, WAF and bot protection rules. storekit handles SSL for you.

Troubleshooting

The message under DNS records says what went wrong. Open Show DNS records, check each record matches exactly at your DNS provider, then click Check now. If it says the domain is blocked, contact support.
Check the records under Show DNS records against your DNS provider, including the Cloudflare DNS only setting. If they match, contact support.
Wait until the domain shows Live: checkout can fail while the certificate is being issued. On Cloudflare, check the records are DNS only. If cards work but Apple Pay or Google Pay don’t, the domain may still need registering for wallet payments: contact support.Your order.storekit.com links keep working in the meantime.

FAQ

The domain opens your brand’s store selection page. Each store is at its store slug:
The slug is always in the path, and renaming a store doesn’t change it. See Store URL.
No. A domain serves every store in its brand. To give a group of stores its own domain, put them in a separate brand.
You can, but most DNS providers can’t point a root domain like yourbrand.com at your store. A subdomain is simpler and leaves your website alone.
No. storekit issues and renews the certificate for free.
Open the domain and click Remove domain. It stops serving every store in the brand straight away. Your order.storekit.com links keep working.
