Every Leat reward or promotion you want to redeem on storekit needs a storekit discount type. It is a short code that tells storekit what to discount, how much and on how many items. This page helps you pick the right one; the setup steps live in Rewards and Vouchers.

Start From the Reward You Want

Find the reward closest to yours, then copy the type and value into Leat.
Discount value is always a plain number: 10 means 10% for percentage types and £10 (or your store’s currency) for amount types. Leave out % and currency symbols.

Build Your Own Type

If none of the examples fit, answer four questions. Each answer is one word in the type name, joined with underscores:
1

What does it apply to?

basket (the whole order), product (specific items), category (any item in a category) or modifier (an add-on such as an extra shot).
2

Percentage or fixed amount?

percent for a percentage (percentage for the basket), amount for a fixed sum. Fixed amounts never take an item below zero.
3

Should paid add-ons be discounted too?

base discounts the item price only — extras such as toppings stay full price. modifiers discounts the item plus its paid add-ons.
4

One item or all of them?

single discounts one matching item (storekit picks the cheapest). multi discounts every matching item in the basket.
So “a percentage off one product, add-ons not included” is product + percent + base + single → product_percent_base_single. Not every combination exists — check the full list below before saving in Leat.

Full List

No storekit PLU needed.
storekit PLU holds the product code(s) — see Linking rewards to products.A fixed amount is capped at the price of the item it applies to. A percentage of 100 makes the item free.
storekit PLU holds the category identifier. There are no fixed-amount category types.
storekit PLU holds the modifier’s PLU.This is the only modifier type — there is no fixed-amount or multi version.
A reward whose type is not in the lists above cannot be redeemed on storekit. Customers see it in Leat but storekit will not apply it. Double-check spelling — the type must match exactly, including underscores.
