Customers scan a QR code to open your menu and order on their phone. There are two kinds: a store QR that opens your store URL, and table QRs that open it with the table already selected.

Types of QR Codes

Downloading the Store QR Code

  1. Go to Stores.
  2. On the store’s card, click QR.
  3. Click Download QR Code and choose Download as SVG or Download as PNG.
Use the SVG for print work — it scales to any size without blurring.

Downloading Table QR Codes

Table QR codes live on the tables page: Stores → your store → Settings → Tables. The Tables entry only appears once the store accepts in-store orders — see Dine-in Tables.

One table

  1. Click the QR code icon on the table’s row (in grid view it is the QR Code button).
  2. Click Download QR and choose Download as SVG or Download as PNG. Copy Link copies the table’s URL instead, for sharing without a code.

Every table at once

  1. Click QR Codes at the top of the page.
  2. Under Menu QR codes, choose Download as SVG or Download as PNG.
Your browser downloads a ZIP containing one QR code image per table.
The bulk options under Menu QR codes always produce ordering codes. If your store accepts Pay at Table, each table’s own QR code opens the bill page instead, so download those codes one table at a time — there is no bulk Pay at Table download in the dashboard.

Emailing Print-Ready QR Cards

storekit can lay the table QR codes out as business-card-sized cards carrying your store logo, your primary brand colour and the text “Scan to order & pay”, so you do not need to design them yourself. From the QR Codes menu at the top of the tables page, choose:
  • Email print sheet (PDF) — cards imposed on A4 pages for printing and cutting yourself.
  • Email individual cards (PDF) — one card per page with bleed, for sending to a print shop.
For a single table, open its QR code and choose Email card (PDF) from the Download QR menu. The bulk Email print sheet (PDF) and Email individual cards (PDF) options also produce ordering codes. For Pay at Table stores, the single-table Email card (PDF) is the only emailed card that opens the bill page. The PDF is generated in the background and emailed to the address you are logged in with. The dashboard confirms with Your QR cards are on the way. There is no way to download the cards directly from the dashboard.

Displaying QR Codes

  • Tables — that table’s QR code, so orders and Pay at Table payments land on the right table.
  • Counter, entrance and window — the store QR, for takeaway ordering and menu browsing.
  • Receipts and flyers — the store QR, for repeat orders.
QR codes encode your store URL, which is built from your store slug. If the slug changes, printed QR codes stop working. Finalise the slug before printing, and contact support if you need to change it once codes are in circulation. Deleting a table also invalidates its printed QR code.
Scan every code with a phone after printing to check it opens the right store and, for table codes, the right table.
