A product or a whole category has disappeared from your ordering page, or shows greyed out as Currently sold out. There are around ten separate settings that can cause this. Work through the checks below in order — each one takes under a minute, and the first few rule out the most common causes.
On a menu synced from a POS, start at step 1 and do not skip it. If the POS owns the menu, changing availability toggles in storekit will not bring an item back.

Checks, in Order

1

Check whether the menu is synced from a POS

Go to MenusEdit on the menu and look at the row under the menu header.
  • Connected to Zonal, Connected to Lightspeed, Connected to Toast, Connected to PointOne, Connected to 3S POS or Managed by Deliverect mean the POS is the source of truth for items, prices and availability. Re-sync with the button in that row (Sync menu for Zonal and PointOne, Sync for Lightspeed and Toast) and check the Synced time updated. Deliverect has no button: publish the menu in Deliverect and it pushes to storekit within about 30 seconds. 3S POS has no button either — ask support for a re-sync. If the item is still missing after a successful sync, it is missing, unavailable or unmapped in the POS — fix it there.
  • Connected to TISSL means only stock is synced (Sync stock). The menu itself is built in storekit, so carry on with the checks below.
  • No row at all does not prove the menu is storekit-managed: Stream, Syrve, Comtrex and Centegra show none. Check Stores → your store → SettingsIntegrations for a POS card marked Connected. For Syrve, open Syrve and click Sync menu; Comtrex and Centegra menus are built in storekit and linked by POS ID, so carry on below.
Only category hours, Unavailable Product Options and the storekit-side content fields (images, video, ingredients, nutrition) are controlled in storekit on a synced menu, so if the whole category is missing at a particular time of day, continue to step 3.Full guide: POS Menu Sync →

Check the store is not snoozed and you are on the right menu

  • If nothing is orderable, the store may be snoozed. On the Stores page a snoozed store shows a Snoozed label and an Unsnooze button on its card; click Unsnooze, then Enable orders. See Store Snoozing.
  • Check the store name under the menu name on the Menus page: the item may have been added to a menu belonging to a different store, or to a second menu on the same store. See Managing Menus.
  • If the menu itself has vanished from the Menus list, click Show archived menus at the bottom of the list — an archived menu is not served to customers. See Archiving and un-archiving a menu.
3

Check the category's hours and Available After

A category outside its hours is hidden along with every product in it, even if the products are marked available. Click the settings icon next to the category name, open the Availability tab and check:
  • Category always available is on, or the hours cover the current time on today’s weekday. Category hours are a weekly schedule, so a day toggled Closed is closed every week.
  • The category’s Available After date and time have passed.
If you turned Category always available off and set no hours, the category is hidden on every day.Full guide: Category Hours →

Check the category's table-area restrictions

Dine-in only. On the same category, open the Table Restrictions tab. Any table areas selected under Select table areas are areas where the category is not shown when a customer scans that table’s QR code. Clear the selection to show it everywhere.Full guide: Table Area Category Restrictions →
5

Check the product's own availability settings

Open the product from the menu builder and check, on the Details tab:Full guide: Availability & Snoozing → · Inventory Management →
6

Check every required modifier group can still be completed

If the product shows Currently sold out but its own Available toggle is on, look at its modifier groups on the Modifiers tab. A required group (minimum of 1 or more) with no option left in stock makes the whole product unorderable — nothing in the menu builder flags this on the product itself.Check each required group still has at least one option with In Stock on and, if it tracks inventory, stock above zero — options that are deliberately out of stock are fine as long as one remains. This includes nested groups the customer only sees after choosing a parent option, and shared groups that were changed from another product.A group can also be short without being empty. If its minimum is 2 or more, there must be enough in-stock options (or, with Multi Max, enough selectable quantity) to reach that minimum. Otherwise the product still looks orderable on the menu, but customers cannot complete it and cannot add it to the basket. Either restock an option or lower the group’s minimum.Full guide: Why a product shows as sold out when its modifiers are unavailable →
7

Check whether it is a hidden modifier group, not a product

If a choice is missing from the product page rather than the product itself, the group may be set to Hidden. Open the product → Modifiers tab → the group and check Initial display setting. Expanded and Collapsed are both visible to customers; Hidden is not.Full guide: Show & Hide Modifier Groups →
8

Check the menu's Unavailable Product Options setting

This does not cause unavailability, but it decides whether an unavailable item is greyed out or removed. Open MenusEditSettings and look at Unavailable Product Options: on Disable (the default) unavailable items stay visible and greyed out; on Hide they vanish. If items are disappearing rather than greying out and you would rather customers still saw them, switch to Disable.Full guide: Unavailable Product Options →

Greyed Out or Gone? A Quick Read

Still Missing?

If every check above passes and the item still does not appear, contact support with the store name, the menu name, the product name and a screenshot of the ordering page. Product and category IDs help too — see Product ID.
